silly confession

I had to share....I am blushing just thinking of telling you this but I want to provide you with a little laugh here.

A came home last night and I had picked up the living room, vacuumed and had worn my high heels last night (and one of my favorite cardigans) and had a glass of wine. So when I came home from work (and then preschool) this afternoon he said "who did you have over when I was at work yesterday?"

no one

"why did you get all dressed up and clean up and everything."

brace yourself

well, while I was working on his quilt (the flannel Simpson's one, I am working on getting the rows all put together and debating borders) and those flying geese for my donation quilt, and after the girls had gone to bed....I sort of imagined that I was being interviewed for a quilting magazine.

now I have no interest in designing quilts, no real plans for my quilting other than to make myself happy with it. But it was so fun to pretend.

he just rolled his eyes at me

Never say never! Who knows...maybe in 10 years you'll be a household name in quilting and we'll all have another good round of laughs over this silly confession. (And if we're being honest here, I sometimes do the same thing with cooking...though the kitchen isn't usually extra clean and I just wear my tennis shoes, but hey Giada cooks in flip-flops, so it's all good!)

Hey, we all have to day dream a little. You just keep having fun, ignore the eye rolls. If you don't quilt you aren't going to get it.
LOL

That's cute;) There is nothing wrong with playing dress up and "pretend" as a grown woman;) Who know's, maybe someday you will get interviewed like that;)
Happy Imagining!!

Sounds like you were having a great time playing "pretend"! You should have some fun and don't pay any attention to the eye rolls. No one gets anywhere if they don't dream.

lol!! You are cracking me up here!! Thanks for the chuckle!

Good for you! If you don't have a reason, might as well make one up! Hey, if that's the worst thing you ever do, you are gonna be okay!

Happy Thanksgiving girlie!! Hug those little ones!!
