Well, I had a good friday night.
I picked up the living room, A vacuumed for me.
I finished working with the cookie dough. I hav eto bake the cookies but I was able to roll stuff into balls and roll up my pinwheels. R wants to help so I did as much as I could without her. She will put them on the tray and count them.
I got H's Dora quilt basted and just over 1/2 way quilted.
And I wraped presents.
Good friday night, even if I didn't sew as much as I'd have liked, it was all fun stuff

Even if you didn't get to sew as much as you wanted, you really did get a lot done! As busy as this time of year is, that is all you can ask for. It wore me out reading what you accomplished! Enjoy the season!
sounds like a really productive evening. I could use a productive evening myself. :)
A finish is a finish whether it's quilty or baking or wrapping presents! It's cute that R wants to help bake, too, but I can understand why, at her age, that's not always actual help!
The little ones may slow you down, but including them is so very important, and makes precious memories! You'll get the necessary things done in time; don't worry! ---"Love"
"Love" is right. You are not just making cookies with R, you are making wonderful memories. My four-year-old granddaughter is coming over for the day on Tuesday. We are going to bake and craft. I will even let her crack the eggs, which is something her mom doesn't let her do yet. I'll probably spend Tuesday evening cleaning up, but it is worth it!
